Deeper Dive Into Fitness and Health Assessments
February  21, 2020

Peggy continues where she left off last month going deeper into ways to assess your current Fitness and Health and potential solutions to improve your results.

Being fit is fundamentally about being able to function. Everyday feats of strength, balance, and endurance—such as getting up off the couch, climbing stairs, and playing hide and seek with the grandkids—aren’t just great goals. They’re important markers of overall fitness.

“Does anything keep you from your normal activities? Have you noticed a change in your ability to do what you used to do?” If the answer is yes, then you probably need improvement in your fitness

This fitness assessment can help you identify weak spots before they hinder day-to-day life. Good news: They also help reveal your greatest areas of strength. Talk about motivation!

Join us for this fun, user-friendly  workshop where we'll go through the assessment together and record your results so we can easily track improvements!

If you've taken the assessment before you'll want to be sure to attend to discover exactly how much you've improved and log your results.

We present this workshop quarterly and always update the content to give you the best tools available to evaluate your progress and get even better results.

It's time. Let's rock and roll!

Simple, easy and effective solutions to give you the freedom to enjoy the simple things yet again.

October 2019 Dramatically Improve Your Balance in 30 Days

Friday October 18th, 2019 2:30 pm - RiversZen Ilwaco
Instructor:  Peggy and Dave Stevens ... and  of course Pink

Why should you improve your balance?

  • Improved coordination and injury prevention – When you have strong balance, you are less likely to slip and fall, and that reduces your risk of breaking a bone. Especially in older adults, broken bones can cause life-changing consequences

  • Improved core strength Improved Core Strength - When you balance train, you’ll recruit the muscles in your core and glutes. As you strengthen these muscles through continued training, you’ll notice firmer muscles and improved balance. Stronger muscles also burn more calories, which boosts metabolism and helps you lose weight.

  • Improved neuromuscular communication — Balance training strengthens the connection between your brain and your muscles.

  • Improved athletic performance — Individuals with strong balance move and perform tasks efficiently. If you’re an athlete, balance skills help you work out longer, harder and stronger.

In this hands-on session  Peggy and Dave will present a variety of simple, easy and effective techniques, tools and exercises that you can utilize to dramatically improve your balance.
