Meet Mario, fitness enthusiast, and Yoga + Pilates instructor at RiversZen. He is new to the coastal area just recently relocating from Las Vegas, NV.
Mario has always been an athlete and into fitness – growing up he played various sports and ran cross country in high school. However, in his early 20’s, things slowed down and he struggled with some unexpected weight gain.
It wasn’t until he tried his first yoga and Pilates class where he re-kindled his love for fitness and lost nearly 50 pounds.
This experience and his drive and passion for health, fitness, and wellness is what made him decide to help others by becoming an instructor and fitness/wellness coach. He has been teaching group fitness classes classes since early 2015.
He loves to work out and has lots of experience in a variety of workout formats such as: bootcamp, cardio kickboxing, high intensity interval training, weight lifting (his favorite being the P90X program), kettlebells, and of course yoga & Pilates!
His goal as an instructor is to help people work their hardest and reach their full potential. He believes everyone’s mantra should be working towards becoming the best version of themselves in mind, body, and spirit!
